I think they can be emulated, there is almost no differences in their behaviour.

Is it likely somebody will release an ird file for them in the near future? The last release of ird's for the games was two years ago. I don't have the hardware to make an ird myself. I can buy the European versions fairly cheaply. Of course, I'd rather not since I already have the games.
