No matter the settings, it will load logos but won't even load the main menu, let alone gameplay.

I managed to get it to load in Vulkan, but the field is black and the fps is a consistent 7

Yep same here. I can get into the game but FPS is at 9 the entire time and the field is a brown color.

RPCS3 NFL HC 09 working configuration

I've seen a few posts about this game not working on RPCS3, common issues from googling are

* game crashing
* not loading
* brown field
* black field

Posting my configuration in case it helps anyone else here. I spent the guts of 4-5 hours testing different configurations on my machine

My PC:

* Ryzen 3700x
* GTX 1070
* 16GB Ram
* Windows 10, latest updates, latest NVidia drivers

Steps:

* In RPCS3, download v1.02 of the game from [here](https://store.brewology.com/updates.php?letters=abcdDownload)
* Drop this [Config file](https://gofile.io/d/cFQzpT) into your RPCS3 folder at *config/custom_configs* , and it should be picked up by the BLUS30128 version of NFLHC09

For me, this config boots into the game, and it runs flawlessly, EXCEPT one issue where the field looks dirty, but it's something I'm willing to ignore for a working version of the game. I've simulated an entire season, and coached a few games with no crashes since I got the game running in a stable state

Edit: config file expired in gofile. I updated the [reddit post](https://www.reddit.com/r/NFLHeadCoachSeries/comments/lhme9a/rpcs3_nfl_hc_09_working_configuration/) with details of where it's at now

Used your config, was able to play the game no problem. The FPS is pretty low, around 15 on my PC, but I'd say this is pretty playable considering my PC has an 8 year old 4 core CPU.

Game fails to load into match giving error:

@Kiely, don't create duplicate threads. I have merged yours into the existing thread. Also the settings above are old. Cubeb superseeds xaudio.

Is WCB + Force CPU Blit even still required? Force CPU Blit isonly needed in a couple games I know of and slows things down a lot. You should also not follow that video/config above blindly. SPU Loop is worse for most users, and lower SPU Thread priority is only really good for people with CPU's that have 4cores.
