RE: Dark Souls 2 [BLES01959] - Asinine - 04-30-2018 Playable as of the test here: https://forums.rpcs3.net/thread-196742.html RE: Dark Souls 2 [BLES01959] - LittleStinky123 - 10-23-2019 After playing it for an hour it seems pretty playable to me. The sound has the same issues than Dark Souls 1 though where sound effects that are played simultaneously or in quick succession lead to stuttering audio for a while. In Dark Souls 1 running through water seems to be enough to trigger it, hitting enemies in Dark Souls 2 also leads to stuttering for me. Maybe this might be worth an issue as I didn't find it mentioned for any of those game on their github. Edit: Using just 1 SPU thread is really bad for performance, disabling SPU loop detection with SPU threads set to auto seems to fix the audio stuttering as well. |
