Yup, this demo is fixed. Playable. Only issues being character portraits and minimap terrain don't work right regardless of settings. Beat it with no other problems.

The game freezes on a black screen for me when I get past the company logos and the opening cutscene that plays before you get to the main menu. How do I fix this?

I'm having the same problem in new version, I tried run it in a previosly version but still don't work, appears this erro, mem: Access violation reading location 0x18
