By build "rpcs3.v0.0.6-8133-cb785226" Strict Rendering Mode is no longer required, but the stages that used to require them suffer from pixelation; however, Write Color Buffers still required for color on clothing.

FWIW, this game crashes rpcs3 (program completely closes) after one demo fight plays using latest builds, i.e. rpcs3-v0.0.7-8710-fb8e70d7_win64.

It runs more reliably using older builds like rpcs3-v0.0.6-8444-112ad9dd_win64.
I applied the 1.03 update, but the free dlc characters don't show up.

Any advice on how to get them? Can anyone at least confirm that they were able to get the 1.03 dlc characters and levels working properly?

I'm referring to the ones on the top row in the picture below. I found a file that will unlock the dlc characters and levels, BUT it seems to be a hack of the 1.01 update, and breaks some parts of the game i.e. customize is completely bugged. Unfortunately you can't install both the 1.03 update and this dlc pkg, they will cancel each other out.

In rpcs3 using the official 1.03 update, I only see these below, but at least the game is not buggy and customize works etc.

I had this issue too for a while, did some digging and apparently it's a thing on the actual consoles as well. You have to play a match as a DLC character (they said any fighter, but I don't think it was working for me w/ Bryan), have it autosave, THEN install the 1.03 update. Hope this helps, I almost lost all hope myself LOL

I have a bug report for the devs.

Using the latest build rpcs3-v0.0.8-9334-e7845357_win64

I played through the game and beat the final boss (unknown) and rpcs3 crashed.

Apparently, this is crashes after beating the final boss in Vulkan but works with OpenGL.

after version 0.0.7-8765 and next, poor performance has become on my system, on i5-4670k, 16gb ram 1600mhz, RTX2060Super

tekken 6, soulcalibur 4-5 also

normally works only up to version 0.0.7-8760
