Just tested this game out. Without Write Color Buffer enabled, the screen goes black during explosions. But once WCB is enabled, the explosions worked correctly. Image 1 is with WCB disabled and image 2 is with WCB enabled.
However, I noticed weird flickering of textures every now and then (most notable during with the pause menu). However, it doesn't always appear and generally doesn't happen while ingame. Here's a video of it happening during the pause menu as a worst case scenario of this bug.
Overall, I'd call this title playable. I'm using the full version BTW.
