RE: Dante's Inferno [BLUS30405] - Alehander - 05-21-2022 Regarding bridge crash -- I bypassed it with setting SPU and PPu decoders to interpreters, revision RPCS3 v0.0.22-13635-7c8fbc35 Alpha | master. RE: Dante's Inferno [BLUS30405] - ThaWatcher - 08-08-2022 Since I was unable resolve my freezing and playback issues with Dante's Inferno by perusing this thread and trying what was suggested, I decided I would post my specs and some helpful screenshot configurations since I am experiencing PERFECT playback on my PC. CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 3.8GHz (overclocked) RAM: 16GB DDR4 2666 MHz GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC GAMING ACX 3.0 Black Edition Monitor: ASUS TUF Gaming 27" HDR Monitor, 2560 x 1440 165Hz 1ms UPDATE: Please see my follow up post as I referenced the post above me to indicate that I've been using RPCS3 Build v0.0.22-13635-7c8fbc35 since I was experiencing frequent crashes and freezes with this game and Heavenly Sword on the latest builds. Thank you SO MUCH, Alehander!!! This seems to be the only version of RPCS3 that lets me flawlessly play Dante's Inferno and Heavenly Sword! I was so desperate to get this working properly that in the interim, I had to take my PS3 out of storage and play these games to continue where I left off! So believe me when I tell you it looks a lot better through RPCS3 than you remember! RE: Dante's Inferno [BLUS30405] - Asinine - 08-26-2022 Those settings are bad. Giga block size causes lots of issues. And 6 SPU threads is not a good idea. I am almost certain interpreters dont fix the issue either, and it is just a random crash and you happened to get lucky. So what would you recommend other than Giga block size and 6 SPU threads? Could my success with these settings also depend on the CPU used as it's rather old? RE: Dante's Inferno [BLUS30405] - ThaWatcher - 01-19-2025 These "lucky" settings are still working today, almost 3 years later. Just sayin'! |
